World Cup Australia

The Socceroos' fantastic efforts in World Cup Germany 2006 woke up the sleeping giant in Australian sports - football. Beating Uruguay to qualify was a historical event in the making and then qualifying in the top 16 teams in the World Cup was a great achievement.

All of the sudden Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka, Lucas Neill, Tim Cahill, Brett Emerton, John Aloisi, Vince Grella, Mark Bresciano, Mark Schwartzer and many more became household names!
