Newcastle Jets snatch draw against Sydney FC

The Newcastle Jets snatched a draw against Sydney FC at EnergyAustralia Stadium when Newcastle substitute Tim Brown cancelled out David Zdrilic's opener with five minutes to go.

It was no more than the Jets deserved as Sydney sat back defending thei 1-0 lead for the entire second half although Terry Butcher's men can feel a little aggrieved that the Linesman decided to wave his flag for something he didn't see rather than wave for a penalty or even let play go on.

Just another case of the officiating being poor, don't worry it happens everywhere, a couple cases in the Arsenal v West Ham clash on the weekend showed incompetent officiating is a world wide problem.
