Huang Jianxiang

Huang Jianxiang a Chinese Central Television reporter that went on an anti-Australian rant during the World Cup has resigned making front page news in China.

Huang caused an uproar with a pro-Italy outburst during the live broadcast of a World Cup match from Germany when he shouted "Long Live Italy" and "I don't like Australia" when Italy beat Australia on a last-minute penalty to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament. After the match Huang said "I don't care about the Australian team and don't want to see Australia have good results in the World Cup."
