Farina Named Queensland Roar Coach

Former Australia boss Frank Farina has been named Queensland Roar coach replacing Miron Blieberg who resigned from his post following the Roar's 1-0 loss to Adelaide United FC on Saturday night.

Farina has taken little time to get on the front foot demanding his team turn their poor home form around quickly, starting with Friday's clash against runaway leaguie leader Melbourne Victory FC.

Certainly not an easy first up assignment for Farina with the Victory welcoming back club captain Kevin Muscat and Rodrigo Vargas to their defence as they look to build on their impressive road record, the best in the Hyundai A-League.
