Bleiberg quits Queensland post
Miron Blieberg has resigned as coach of the Queensland Roar FC following Saturday night’s 1-0 loss to Adelaide United FC.
The club issued a statement confirming his resignation saying, "Following the recent indifferent results of the team, Queensland Roar FC coach Miron Bleiberg has offered his resignation from the post of Head Coach which has been accepted by the club's board of directors with immediate effect," it read.
"Mr Bleiberg is desperate for the club to achieve its aims of finals football this season and feels changes are required to meet that goal."
No surprise to see former Australia coach Frank Farina touted as a likely replacement
