Victory March On
Melbourne Victory continued their unbeaten start to the new A-League season with an emphatic 4-1 win over previously unbeaten Queensland Roar.
The Victory, playing at the Telstra Dome to capitalize on surging crowd figures, dominated from start to finish with Captain Kevin Muscat scoring twice in each half from the penalty spot.
Another storming start by the Victory saw them lead 2-1 after only 22 minutes with Fred scoring on 11 minutes before Ante Milicic drew the Roar level with a close range effort.
Muscat put the Victory back in the lead from the spot before adding a second from the spot in the 57th minute.
