Sydney draw against Perth Glory

The pressure will continue to mount on embattled coach Terry Butcher after Sydney FC was held to a 1-1 draw against Perth Glory FC at Aussie Stadium on Sunday.

David Zdrilic looked to have sent Sydney on the road to a much needed win but a second half strike by substitute Luka Glavas ensured a point for the visitors.

The defending Hyundai A-League champion took the lead when Zdrilic headed home from close range.

While Butcher hailed the 1-1 draw as amagnificent fighting effort by his undermanned team, the sad truth is his men have failed to win for the fourth week on the trot.

Sydney FC 1 (Zdrilic 15)
Perth Glory 1 (Glavas 75)
Crowd: 12,316 at Aussie Stadium
