Queensland Roar held by Central Coast Mariners

The Queensland Roar FC moved into second place on the Hyundai A-League ladder after being held to a 1-1 draw by Central Coast Mariners FC at Suncorp Stadium.

The Mariners took a shock lead through Damian Mori before Brazilian import Reinaldo headed home after the break.

Mori netted his fourth goal of the campaign in the 21st minute when his left foot shot found a way under the outstretched arms of Queendland keeper Liam Reddy and nestling in the far corner.

Queensland hit back four minutes after the restart with Reinaldo jumping highest to head home a corner.
