Romario set for Adelaide guest stint

The Australian A-League is about to be leading the Sports News and be splashed across every newspaper in the country, at AFL and NRL Finals time after news broke that Brazilian striker Romario would be heading down under to play for Adelaide United.

Romario could be in Adelaide as early as Saturday with a guest stint starting on October 2 against Sydney FC at Hindmarsh Stadium.

Whilst well past his best, the arrival of FIFA 1994 world player of the year would do more good for the game publicity wise, than any deeds his ageing legs can do on the field.
