Qu facing extended ban

Adelaide United FC Chinese import Shengqing Qu's is facing an extended spell on the sidelines for headbutting Chad Gibson. Qu faces a misconduct charge before an A-League disciplinary hearing in Sydney on Wednesday night.

Unfortunately for Adelaide, Qu’s case has been referred directly to a disciplinary hearing following United's 0-0 draw with the Queensland Roar at Suncorp Stadium in round five of the A-League last weekend.

The A-League disciplinary panel has already banned Melbourne Victory Brazilian midfielder Fred for three matches for violent conduct.
