A-League Weekend Wrap
The Australian A-League continued this weekend with round 4 action kicking off on Friday night. There was plenty to cheer about for Queensland Roar fans after watching their team go to the top of the A-League ladder with a thumping 5-0 win over the hapless New Zealand Knights.

Crowd: 15,517 Plenty of goals again on Saturday night when Adelaide United hosted Perth Glory at Hindmarsh Stadium. The home team continued on their good work scoring three goals in the first half to coast to a 3-0 win over the Perth outift who continue to struggle since the formation of the A-League.

Crowd: 11474Sydney FC saw a 2-0 lead go down the toilet as the Newcastle Jets fought back to take a share of the spoils at Aussie Stadium. New recruit, Colombian Milton Rodriguez, announced his arrival to the A-League with a brace that would have brought a smile to coach Newcastle boss Nick Theodorakopoulos.

Crowd: 15,488 Round four of the A-League ended with the Melbourne Victory getting back to the top of the ladder with a hard fought win over the Central Coast Mariners at Olympic Park. The Victory can thank Archie Thompson for maintaining their perfect record posting their fourth win from as many starts.
