Insipid Jets crash
The Perth Glory moved into third place on the A-League ladder with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over an insipid Newcastle Jets outfit at Energy Australia Stadium.
Perth Deserved their win, they worked hard and got their just rewards while the Jets were simply incompetent.
Jets Captain Nick Carle led the way for Newcastle and his teammates, unfortunately, followed suit.
Noted as a player of skill, Carle couldn't make five yard passes to teammates time and again in a performance that was simply beyond belief.
Perth outworked the Jets all night and took a deserved lead on the stroke of halftime when Stuart Young crashed home a sweet volley which had deflected into his path.
The Glory boys doubled their advantage when captain Jamie Harnwell headed home a corner kick seven minutes from time before Young grabbed his second during injury time.
Hard to see where the Jets will go from here now that they are firmly entrenched at the bottom of the ladder.
