AFL Grand Final

The AFL season comes to a close on Saturday with an exciting Grand Final looming when the West Coast Eagles and the Sydney Swans meet in the last day in September for the second consecutive year.

Not a great deal separates these two sides with the Swans and the Eagles sharing the spoils in their last 10 clashes 5-5 with the last four all finishing with less than a kick between them at siren time.

The forward line advantage is clearly with the Swans who boast Barry Hall and Michael O'Loughlin while the star studded midfield of the West Coasters will be their driving force.

Last week, the West Coasters had to come back from a 22 point halftime deficit to down the Crows in Adelaide while the Swans led all night to comfortably beat the Dockers.

These two teams have met four times in the last two years with both sides posting two wins apiece, but it was the Swans who won the one that counts, last year's Grand Final.

Tip - Eagles 1-39
