Adelaide United FC is from Adelaide, Australia. They were the 2006 Premiers finishing the season seven points clear at the top of the league but missed out of the Grand Final losing the Preliminary Finals to the
Central Coast Mariners.
The Premier is the team at the top of the league table at the end of the regular season. The team that wins the
Grand Final is the Champion, and overall winner of the season.
Along with the
Perth Glory, Adelaide United are one of only two teams to survive from the
National Soccer League. Adelaide United's home colours are red and away colours are white with red sleeves.
Adelaide United's home ground is the Hindmarsh Stadium.
